The new site has been redesigned to provide more relevant information for prospects and students about the career training offered by PCI.
The new website features a wide selection of pictures of actual PCI students allowing visitors a better view of the hands-on environment that has made PCI a leader in career training over the past 60 plus years. In addition to the photos, the website has expanded content about the ten (10) programs offered and the many student services provided.
The website is designed to be fluid with new content being added on a steady basis. One of the new featured pages is for the Nissan Skyline, one of PCI’s student project cars. This page has video and pictures of the car, as well as in depth descriptions of the car's specifications. The videos will alternately show the car in action at Lime Rock Speedway and hands-on work that PCI students are performing on the car.
Porter and Chester Institute is a series of local schools that takes pride in their community involvement, so the News and Events page has taken a prominent position on the site and will be updated daily. The website will also feature a new school calendar that will allow students to find important dates quickly including start dates, vacations, and events at their local campus.
