Washington Metropolitan Miss Chinese American Beauty Pageant Returns to DC Area

The Washington Metropolitan Miss Chinese American Beauty Pageant is open to Chinese American women, ages 17 through 25, who live in the United States. Winners will receive scholarships valued at $20,000. Application deadline is June 30, 2010.

Rockville, MD, April 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Pacific Culture International is pleased to announce the Second Washington Metropolitan Miss Chinese American Beauty Pageant, which will be held in October 2010 at the world-renowned Strathmore Music Center in Bethesda, MD. The pageant has become one of the biggest and most exciting cultural events in the Washington, DC area, drawing over 2,000 spectators, business owners, community leaders, government officials, and celebrities in 2008. Pacific Culture International will co-host this event with a large number of non-profit organizations in the Chinese community.

The Washington Metropolitan Miss Chinese American Beauty Pageant is open to all Chinese American women, ages 17 through 25, who live in the United States. Contestants will compete in the areas of personality, talent, modeling, and popularity. The winners will receive scholarship packages valued at $20,000 that include cash prizes, educational scholarships, clothing, gifts, and much, much more.

During the months of August and September 2010, the 15 pageant finalists will make promotional appearances throughout the tri-state area. Immediately following the beauty contest, the 3 pageant winners will travel to China for two weeks as friendship ambassadors, promoting tourism and cultural exchange between our two nations.
