Filmmaker BJ Rouse, Who Directed Natalie Deselle Reid in "Queen Victoria's Wedding," Will Be a Featured Panelist at the 17th Annual Sistas Are Doin' It For Themselves Film Festival

New York, NY, April 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Short Film “Queen Victoria’s Wedding” was selected to screen at BHERC’s 17th Annual “Sistas Are Doin’ It For Themselves” filmmaker showcase and discussion of African American Women Filmmakers. “Queen Victoria’s Wedding” passed a rigorous selection process and highlights the incredible work of director BJ Rouse.

Who: BJ Rouse is a dynamic director and graduate of the prestigious Guy Hanks and Marvin Miller Screenwriting Program at USC. BJ is scheduled to direct two feature films later this year: a horror film entitled “Don’t Look” starring Ashley Rickards (“One Tree Hill”) and a drama entitled “Love & Hate” based on the novel “It’s A Thin Line,” produced by and starring Vanessa Bell Calloway ("The Closer,” “Biker Boyz”).

Where: Raleigh Studios located at 5300 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood, California.

When: The screening and moderated discussion begins at 6:00pm on April 17, 2010. Filmmaker and director BJ Rouse will be on hand to answer questions during the Q&A session.
