Soul Music by the Bay Conference Adds New Speakers to Its First Annual Music Conference

Conference Producer TraMaĆ­ Entertainment Also Announces Schedule.

San Francisco, CA, April 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- TraMaí Entertainment, producer of the first annual Soul Music By The Bay music industry conference (SMBTB 2010), announced today new speakers to its lineup of music industry experts who will be leading panel discussions and workshops. The conference, which takes place at the Waterfront Hotel in Oakland, Calif. on June 25 and 26, 2010, offers a two-day educational environment along with networking opportunities and artist showcases to attendees seeking to be in the music business. Michael Winger, producer, engineer, musician, songwriter, and Advocacy Co-Chair of the San Francisco Chapter of the Recording Academy is keynoting SMBTB 2010 and will be joined by some of the industry’s most prolific experts. New speakers include:

· Chris Wiltsee, Executive Director of the San Francisco Chapter of The Recording Academy, a music industry veteran who has more than 15 years experience in developing innovative organizations combining music, community and education and most recently founded Youth Movement Records based in Oakland.

· Claytoven Richardson, founder of Claytoven Music Entertainment, a premier session musician who has performed on several gold and platinum albums featuring Whitney Houston, Maria Carey, Jennifer Lopez, among others. He currently teaches at San Francisco State University.
·
Beni B, president of ABB Records, whose label has more than 50 releases under its belt to date, including Little Brother “The Listening,” Peven Everett “Studio Confessions,” Sound Providers “An Evening with the Sound Provider,” among others. ABB Records is also home to the Bay Area Hip Hop Coalition, a collective of DJ’s and radio stations bringing awareness and consciousness to the community through hip-hop culture.

· Tony Berman, founder of Berman Entertainment and Technology law, whose law firm focuses on issues implicated by the convergence of technology and the entertainment industry. His clients include record companies, online content distribution companies, management companies, film and television production companies, presenters of live entertainment, music venues, publishers, multimedia companies, multimedia developers, producers, technologists and industry executives as well as writers, performers and artists.

· Maestro Curtis (A.K.A Stro-Ra), an accomplished musician, composer, arranger, producer, and artist development specialist who has worked in the recording industry for more than 30 years. Maestro has produced, performed, consulted or collaborated with a veritable "who's who" in the music industry, including Maurice White (Earth, Wind, & Fire founder), Peabo Bryson, The O'Jay's Sarah Vaughn, and Ella Fitzgerald, to name a few. He is currently CEO of "Jazzy Boo" Records where he develops and produces artists in the area of, jazz, blues, R&B, and more with an emphasis on the San Francisco sound.
