SloFunkPump Releases New Video for "Sway"

Hollywood, FL, April 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Today, SloFunkPump has released a solo electric studio video for the track "Sway."

The video was recorded live at Legend Room Recording in Palm City, Florida. "This electric studio version of 'Sway' strips the song down to its core," SloFunkPump said. "It's a beautiful song."

"Sway" is the fourth track on SloFunkPump's first record "Orchestra". The song features the name of "Penelope" from the epic myth "The Odyssey".

"I wrote 'Sway' a little while after watching the movie 'O Brother Where Art Thou' with George Clooney," SloFunkPump said. "I was impressed with the movie's adaptation of the classic 'Odyssey' myth which has always moved me. I thought about writing my own version of the title song 'Man of Constant Sorrow' -- which is also an adaptation (of Bob Dylan's song). The first line (in Dylan's song) is "I am a man of constant sorrow". I strummed the first chords of 'Sway' and started singing, 'I come from the raging sea.'"

SloFunkPump's record "Orchestra" is featured on iTunes for only $3.96. The video of "Sway" is available at youtube.com/slofunkproductions. For updates about the band, follow SloFunkPump on Twitter under @SloFunkTweet and @SantaPlease.
