Western New York Immediate Care today announced a new partnership with Healthagen® to promote its three urgent care center locations through the iTriage® applications. Users can download the iTriage application for their iPhone® and Android™ phones through the app stores, or log onto www.iTriageHealth.com from any Internet-enabled device to access healthcare information and providers, from the palm of their hand.

With the introduction of this premier level of service, WNY Immediate Care’s three locations becomes the first New York urgent care centers to utilize this interactive technology, which enables consumers to evaluate symptoms, learn about possible causes like Lyme disease and strep throat, and find appropriate locations for treatment.

“Immediate Care sets the standard for providing value and meeting patients’ needs. We want to arm our patients with all the resources, technology and information available so that they can make informed medical decisions,” said Dr. Greg Daniel, CEO, The Exigence Group, which manages WNY Immediate Care. “The iTriage application is a cutting-edge application that will undoubtedly become a key source of medical information for our communities when seconds count.”

Built by emergency room physicians, iTriage aggregates healthcare information in a structured and actionable way, and closes the information gap between doctors and patients. As the healthcare landscape changes, iTriage continues to provide technology to empower healthcare consumers. With this addition, the Western New York community now has on-the-go access to valuable WNY Immediate Care details like contact information, mapping, quality reports and capabilities.

“WNY Immediate Care’s decision to partner with iTriage speaks directly to their belief in providing cutting edge medical care through advanced technology. We look forward to a truly flourishing partnership with this group of experienced urgent care centers as more American’s adopt smartphones as their frontline communication tool,” said Peter Hudson, M.D., CEO, Healthagen, developer of iTriage.
