Nghosi Books Opens the Doors to New Publishing House and the Release of Its First Anthology

Stone Mountain, GA, November 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Nghosi Books announced today the opening of its new small print press and the upcoming release of its first anthology from the Nghosi Books New Voices Series. Originally created as an online artist forum for artists of all disciplines, Nghosi Books has been redefined and transformed into a publishing house dedicated to publishing new African-American LGBT writers and the exclusive home of the founder’s future novels. “Nghosi is still providing an online artist forum through our arts and entertainment section Nghosi Online (www.nghosi.com) but has expanded to provide focus on the LGBT community,” explains Shonia Brown, Publisher of Nghosi Books.

Discussions regarding this new business venture took place early last year with the opening of a new 24-hour Internet Radio program, CNOTES Radio. Plans for the new small print press continued to be verbalized in other press releases and a company profile from Southern Voice Magazine. “We have been sowing and planting our seeds of growth for the past four years by building an interactive web site that reaches visitors from across the country and abroad; developing strong business partnerships with arts and entertainment companies; marketing and promoting independent artists; and paying close attention to industry trends.”

November 17th marks the official opening of the new Nghosi Books’ space under the Nghosi Online web site (www.nghosi.com). The corporate brand from the parent company, Nghosi Online is clearly present in this new area of the web site but more interactive features and focus on the publishing house’s upcoming anthology is also very prominent. As Nghosi Books prepares for the street release of its first anthology in January 2007, there is much excitement and things to do around the Nghosi office before the birth of yet a new business line. “We’re pregnant with a life that’s way overdue but as we tick items off our ‘To Do Lists’ there are more tasks that quickly replace the old ones! The final pieces of marketing collateral arrived last week and we’ve been pounding the pavements distributing postcards to our target market and will continue this campaign and many others in the coming weeks. One of our new cross promotional campaigns is a collaborative effort with LyfeStyle Entertainment (http://www.lyfestyle.tk/) and the release of their new She-Stud (The Best of Both Worlds) 2007 Calendar. Through our combined efforts, we are determined to reach our target market full force!” Shonia declares.

The first cross promotional campaign takes place on Friday, November 17th with the placement of the new calendar in the Shop Nghosi e-commerce store and the marketing of the new anthology during the calendar release parties on November 17th and 19th. “I'm very excited by what we are trying to accomplish together now and for the future. There truly are many big things to come in 2007 for Nghosi Books and LyfeStyle Entertainment and our other strategic partnerships,” says Goldie Nwanne, CEO of LyfeStyle Entertainment.
