Noida, India, April 21, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- · One of its kind programme which makes students employable even before completion of the course
· Equips students with practical and industry focused skills alongside studies
Traditionally it is only the news of final placements that makes headlines in a B-School. Gladly, this does not hold true for WLC College India (WLCI), one of the leading further education and training institutions in India.
WLCI’s Jammu campus is abuzz with the Traineeship offers bagged by the batch of Business. Students from the Post Graduate Business course at WLCI have been offered Traineeship profiles at companies like Religare, Bajaj Capital, Everonn Systems, Ultimate Flexipacks, Berger Paints, ING Vysya and many other top names from the industry.
The most interesting fact is that few of the students have been offered Traineeships on a monthly stipend of upto Rs. 18,000 per month. The hike in Traineeships offers definitely boosts the final employability of these students. Having grabbed these offers, WLCI students will enjoy the dual benefit of combining study with industry experience. Selected students will now attend classes from morning 8am to 11am and will report to their work place after the study hours.
It is to be noted that WLCI is the only institution in India which equips the industry with ‘experienced freshers’.
Says Ms. Malobika Sengupta, CEO WLCI, “WLCI’s Traineeship programme has always kept our students ahead of their counterparts. Students, definitely, have to prove their mettle in time management to balance studies and work. It is this attribute of getting early to job that they secure niche openings even during training projects!”
In the words of Amit Sharma, Student WLCI, “During the time of admissions, everybody at my home was surprised to know about the WLCI’s Traineeship Programme. We used to wonder how this works. Now since I have secured a project with Berger Paints, I know there is no looking back for me. My family is very happy as I will not just ‘learn’ but will also be able to partially fund my own studies. All because of WLCI!”
Sohan Singh Chib, another WLCI student, who grabbed the offer from ING Vysya, “This is what we call a dream come true, I am finally on the board in my dream company with an unexpected stipend of Rs. 18000 per month. Definitely work becomes pleasure when you have such a great motivation. My journey has begun, thanks to WLCI.”
What is WLCI’s Traineeship Programme?
The Traineeship System supporting ‘earn while you learn’ concept allows the students to work in their area of specialization, as trainees with WLCI Industry partners, and supplement their learning. Furthermore, it empowers them to head start their careers as they are not just assured of a paid internship but also a secure placement! It is this experience that differentiates WLCI students from those of any other college. This dimension to education gets students into the habit of 'getting results' early on in life and keeps them in good stead throughout their career ahead.
WLCI professional education has a two pronged advantage. Its unique combination of Cutting Edge System and Traineeship System ensures all round grooming of students by addressing all elements that go into making a successful professional.
The Cutting Edge System is an integral part of the course curriculum which pays special attention to the development of skills and attitudes a student should possess before entering the corporate world.
