Vancouver, Canada, April 24, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- EPI Environmental Technologies (“EPI”), the global leader and pioneer of oxo-biodegradable plastics additives, announced today an exclusive distributor agreement of TDPA™ technology with Green Force (Pvt) Ltd. of Pakistan.
In Pakistan, over 6 billion plastic bags are consumed per year which has adversely affected the sewage and drainage systems, polluted agricultural fields and thereby has contaminated the soil and affected the productivity of local farms. To address this growing problem, Green Force (Pvt) Ltd has introduced the TDPA™ technology as EPI’s exclusive distributor for the Pakistan market.
“Plastic waste is an ongoing issue that affects all global communities. EPI strives to promote the use of our TDPA™ technology as an environmentally safe and cost effective solution. We not only provide the technology, but we also educate each global customer that there is an environmental responsible solution which can help us to create a sustainable world for future generations,” says Arthur Liu, Market Development Manager.
EPI, with headquarters in Vancouver, Canada, developed proprietary technology which enables the manufacture of environmentally responsible plastics that degrade after use. EPI’s Totally Degradable Plastic Additives (TDPA™) are incorporated into commodity plastics on standard manufacturing machines to make plastic film and other single use plastic products degradable without affecting the quality of the product itself. With a primary focus on waste management and single use products, EPI aims to meet its customers’ requirements through excellence in innovation, responsiveness and global capability.
