Amber Alert Issued for Two Louisiana Brothers (Demond & Demonte Winfrey)
Springfield, IL, November 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Louisiana State Police Troop F has issued an Amber Alert for two children who are believed to have been abducted from the Tech Elementary School in Cecilia.

It is believed the children were abducted by Laquita Mathis, 31, also known as Laquita Winfrey or Kimberly Bosley.

She is described as a black female with spiked hair and a dark complexion. Mathis is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds. She was last seen driving a white mid-size sedan, possible a Toyota Maxima or Ford Taurus. She may be headed toward Texas.

One of the children is Demonte Winfrey, 10, a black male with short black hair and brown eyes standing 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds. He as last seen wearing a red Polo shirt with navy pants.

The other child is identified as Demond Winfrey, 11, a black male with short black hair and brown eyes, standing 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighing approximately 115 pounds. He was also wearing a red Polo shirt and navy pants.

Authorities asks that if the vehicle, suspect or children are seen, please call the St. Martin Sheriff at 337-394-3071 or 337-394-2512.
