DriWater, Inc. Announces California Small Business Certification, and Works Towards Green Business Certification

DriWater, Inc. is pleased to announce their certified Small Business status with the State of California, identification #1129364. This year DriWater is also taking the steps needed to become a certified Green Business through the Sonoma/Bay Area Green Business Program.

Santa Rosa, CA, April 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- DriWater, Inc. is pleased to announce their certified Small Business status with the State of California. DriWater now is entitled to the benefits under the state’s Small Business Participation Program within state contracting, including a five percent bidding preference and other special provisions.

California Government Agencies are encouraged to utilize DriWater for their irrigation supplement needs on environmental restoration or mitigation projects. Their experienced sales staff can identify and respond to agency procurement needs, to provide labor and water savings on planting and irrigation projects. And as a part of DriWater’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the company is also taking the steps needed to become a certified Green Business through the Sonoma/Bay Area Green Business Program. Staff is working through checklists with local utilities to bring operations into compliance with all environmental regulations in the areas of water and energy conservation, solid waste reduction and recycling, and pollution prevention.
