1st Annual CGM Fan Fest to Feature a Double E Promotions Showcase of Award Winning Artists

Nashville, TN, May 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Perry Edge and Double E Promotions showcased their star studded roster at the 1st Annual CGM Fan Fest on April 29th – May 1st held at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, TN.

The Double E showcase featured The Waymasters, Clinton Gregory, Johnny Jones, Jennifer Brantley, Eddie Gordon, Rene Jones and Gerald Smith. Fans will be able to stop by the Double E booth for a meet and greet after the showcase. Gerald Smith, best known for his role as the “Georgia Quacker” on Hee Haw and being a hit song writer, penning “What Part Of No Don’t You Understand,” recorded by Lorrie Morgan, has the honor of being the MC for the showcase.

Double E Promotions, headquartered in Booneville, MS and ran by Perry and wife, Vikki Edge, have focused more on the Country Gospel genre over the last couple years, witnessing the fruits of their labor as many of their clients songs have charted on national Christian music charts, most rece­­­ntly promoting Country Gospel Great, Allen Frizzell’s single, “Man of His Word” to number one on the Power Source Christian Country Chart for April of 09’ and former Statler Brother, Jimmy Fortune’s “Wrote it In Red” to number one on the Christian Voice, Christian Country Top 100 Chart for December of 09’.

Also appearing at the famous Country Tonight Theater, located in the Pigeon Forge Cowboy Church was Rene Jones and Gerald Smith.
