Ordyx's Revolutionary Kitchen Assistant to be Unveiled at the 2010 National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago


Boca Raton, FL, May 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ordyx's newest solution, the Kitchen Assistant, will be exhibited for the first time at the NRA show in Chicago.

The Kitchen Assistant is a solution that will provide restaurant owners with an innovative alternative for receiving orders in the kitchen, remotely managing training sessions, and improving communications between wait staff and the kitchen.

“Our customers have asked us to come up with innovative ways for them to manage training sessions, enhance and simplify the order taking process right at the table, and provide real time communication between back of the house and front of the house employees. Ordyx Kitchen Assistant is a revolutionary type of Kitchen Video Display (KVD). It enhances traditional functionality of displaying orders on a monitor and dismissing orders via a bump bar by enabling multi-store owners to push pre-recorded training videos directly from corporate offices to remote stores. Chefs and Cooks can be remotely trained via Ordyx's Kitchen Assistant, thus, decreasing travel budgets and increasing quality levels. The kitchen staff can even replay training sessions or bring up recipes whenever necessary while cooking orders in a open restaurant. Additionally, it allows kitchen staff to use the KVD to easily call on waitstaff via Ordyx Mobile or traditional Ordyx POS stations.
