No Complaints at Grand Miramar with Mother's Day Brunch and Guest Canadian Chef

Mothers dining at Grand Miramar's palapa restaurant were privy to a special guest chef cooking for his reunited mother.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, May 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Grand Miramar Club and Spa had a special opportunity to please a member with a request to cook brunch for his mother, reunited after two years apart. Nearby mothers dining at other tables may have been tearful, but nobody complained at watching a mother receive the "best Mother's Day present."

Tracy and Andrew Adams of British Columbia, Canada, mother and son apart after Andrew left to become a private chef on a yacht were reunited at Grand Miramar this week. The two enjoyed Puerto Vallarta, and made use of the all-inclusive resort's deep-sea fishing boat, available at no charge to members.

On Mother's Day, Andrew and Tracy had reservations for the Mother's Day brunch at Miramar's palapa-covered restaurant. Tracy was expecting another delicious meal courtesy of Miramar's kitchen, but what she wasn't expecting to see was her chef son cook the meal personally.

"It brought tears to my eyes when I saw him in his chef uniform," Tracy said. "I never expected a Mother's Day present like this. Definitely no complaints here."

The event was a co-ordinated effort between concierge of Miramar and the young Adams. "I was working out in the ocean off the coast of Peru making plans over email with Miramar. They went out of their way to accommodate me. I'm really thankful to the resort," Andrew Adams told fellow diners at the restaurant at the time.

Grand Miramar Club and Spa is south of Puerto Vallarta's Old Town in the exclusive neighborhood, Conchas Chinas.
