New Book Guides Readers Along the Path to Enlightenment, Released by Dog Ear Publishing

New York, NY, May 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- This book, the second in a five-book treatise, devotes itself to offering flashes of illumination for the reader’s enlightenment, pointing those who seek it toward the truth regarding the nature of reality and the attainment of immortality. Each entry presents a different approach to enlightenment, presented in metaphors to break through traditional habits of perception.

As the author writes, “To become Enlightened is like leaping into space. You must be willing to die to your life, to ‘who and what you think you are’ and all you believe in, before you will be allowed to know who and what you really are.” With titles ranging from The Worlds of Duality and Homeward Bound to The Seeker and The Game of Life, the author presents a series of poems and contemplative sayings intended to lead readers on a journey of self-discovery to their own enlightenment.

The final entry of the book, titled The Best Game in Town, present Tara’s views on 'awakening' and ‘liberation’, depicting life as a dream that everyone thinks is real. The dream springs from mind and includes nature – the earth, sky, water, sun, stars, man and all living things. Its innumerable variations, also known as belief systems, come with current favorites, such as science or a current principal religion. A world ideology, layered with cultural beliefs, political beliefs, peer beliefs and personal beliefs, run synchronically, “like the gears in a great cosmic clock,” with each individual playing in many of them.

Tara’s other books include In the Dawn of Enlightenment, I realized that and Flowers of the Garden – Treasures from the Sea, with additional writings presented on her website: http://www.taooftara.com/.
