Bridal Guide Beats All Other Magazines in Readers Per Copy

New York, NY, May 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Magazine Audience Estimates released May 19th by GfK MRI reported that Bridal Guide has the most readers per copy among all magazines measured by the global research firm.

Bridal Guide was reported to have a chart-topping total of 31 readers per copy, its highest-ever readership, bringing Bridal Guide’s total audience to 4.7 million readers. Bridal Guide also posted an all-time high in audience household income, with a median HHI of $67,850. Both Bridal Guide’s total audience and median household income have soared since the Fall 2009 report—total audience up 11% and household income climbing by nearly 13%.

In contrast, Bridal Guide’s nearest competitor, Conde Nast’s Brides, had nearly 40% fewer readers per copy and a lower median household income.

Says Publisher Jeff Hendlin, “It’s no surprise to see that readers share Bridal Guide with nearly twice as many people as the other bridal publications. Our editors do a tremendous job of addressing all the interests of engaged couples, from etiquette and fashion to destination weddings and honeymoons. Our travel coverage is especially outstanding, with more pages dedicated to travel in every issue than any other bridal magazine.” Hendlin continues, “Bridal Guide’s readers share the magazine with family, friends and co-workers, all of whom have some influence in the decision-making process. We’re committed to giving couples practical inspiration for the wedding of their dreams, so it makes perfect sense that the magazine is so viral.”
