Oxford PR Agency, BOTTLE PR, to Offer Annual Breast Screening to All Its PR Consultants

As BreastHealth UK appoints BOTTLE PR to launch its breast cancer screening services, the Oxford PR agency promotes the cause internally by providing annual breast screening as part of its benefits package.

Oxford, United Kingdom, May 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- BOTTLE PR, voted one of the top PR agencies outside London, has been appointed by BreastHealth UK to undertake a number of healthcare PR projects to generate greater awareness of its private breast screening services on a nationwide brief.

BOTTLE PR has also signed up as one of BreastHealth UK’s first corporate services customers so that all its employees and their partners will receive breast screening as part of their employee benefits package.

Claire Cairns, Managing Director of BOTTLE PR says: "This seems a very fitting benefit to offer our staff, given that the vast majority of our PR consultants are female. Our male employees are allowed to invite their female partners to participate too so everyone is included. The feedback from the team has been so positive, some have a family history of breast cancer and others are just keen to know what their level of risk is. The service will also teach us how to check our breasts properly and on a regular basis and each member of staff will get a tailor-made breast health plan."

The Oxfordshire-based PR agency was appointed following a competitive pitch and is tasked with delivering a PR programme that will include the UK launch of the service to national consumer press, new clinic openings as well as numerous proactive campaigns to raise awareness of breast health in women under 50. BOTTLE PR will also be responsible for driving a B2B campaign to support BreastHealth UK’s corporate services offer which is aimed at large corporates.

Troels Jordansen, Managing Director of BreastHealth UK says of the appointment: "Now we have a solid national network of clinics which we operate from, it’s time to ramp up our marketing and PR programme. We gelled with BOTTLE PR straight away and they demonstrated a solid background in consumer and B2B PR together with relevant experience in healthcare PR."

Amanda Politzer, Senior PR Consultant at BOTTLE PR, says: "Breast cancer is very high on the news agenda at the moment, and it is the most commonly diagnosed cancer for women under 35.

“BreastHealth UK is the only comprehensive service available in the UK for women who fall outside of the NHS Breast Screening programme for 50-70 year olds. This service offers peace of mind for women who are concerned about their breast health. We are looking forward to educating more women with regard to breast health and the options available to them.”
