Paraben Corporation Releases Link2 Software Product

Paraben Corporation, a provider of digital forensics solutions, has announced the release of Paraben’s Link2; a link analysis tool for Digital Forensics investigations.

Pleasant Grove, UT, May 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Paraben Corporation, a provider of digital forensics solutions, has announced the release of Paraben’s Link2; a link analysis tool for Digital Forensics investigations. Born out of the frustrations and feedback of investigators, Paraben Corporation developed Link2 as a simple way to find key pieces of digital evidence that will fortify a case, and show how they relate to one another. “We really wanted to offer a tool to our customers that was easy to use to show the correlation of cell phone data. Visualization can be key to finding the right piece of evidence,” stated Amber Schroader, CEO at Paraben Corporation.

Once the digital evidence has been collected from a cell phone, PDA, or other hand-held device using Paraben’s Device Seizure, the investigator can import several cases into Link2 and find contacts they have in common. For example; Link2 can connect phone A to phone B through a series of incriminating text messages. The investigator can then cross-reference phones A and B with phones X, Y, and Z and potentially discover that all five phones have communicated with each other.

There are many features to Paraben’s Link2 including the direct import of multiple Paraben’s Device Seizure case files (.PDS) as well as many different reporting Options that include PNG, SVG, PDF, VDX, DXF, HTML outputs.

Additional filtering options are also available that enable the user to move between data from one case to another. Being able to make sense of the pieces in a puzzle, such as digital data from several sources, is crucial and Paraben has your back with Link2.
