Content Caboodle Surpasses 10,000 Contributing Members

Pittsburgh, PA, May 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Online publishing venue, Content Caboodle, is pleased to announce that their service has surpassed 10,000 registered and contributing members.

Content Caboodle is a free-to-use online publishing service where article authors can both gain exposure and earn revenue from their writing efforts. Content Caboodle also provides website and newsletter publishers with high quality, free content which they may use to add value to their own projects.

"Reaching 10,000 members is a major milestone for us," says Roberta Burns, project manager of Content Caboodle. "When we launched in 2007, a lot of people expressed concerns that we would quickly fail against the established competition of similar online publishing services, but by constantly working to attract new visitors and providing an environment where contributors who created great content could be fairly rewarded for their efforts we have been able to build a nice niche for ourselves. Reaching the point of 10,000 contributing members is a fantastic validation for the hard work of everyone involved."

Content Caboodle has very liberal publishing guidelines for authors to follow in comparison to similar content publishing sites, yet every submission does go through a human review prior to being published live on the site to ensure visitors aren't cheated with sub-standard content.

Submissions for publishing must be made in English, however editors respect and embrace the International culture of the web and often approve submissions than may appear to be written in broken English from contributors for whom English is not their native language if the message of the content is clear.

Content Caboodle also has a need to earn specific levels of advertising revenue to sustain offering authors the opportunity to earn from their hard work, but site administrators are sensitive to not overwhelming visitors with advertising and devaluing the content they came for.

Burns added, "The majority of our success is due to the contributors, so this milestone is really their achievement, I'm just happy that our focus on balancing everything about Content Caboodle to benefit both our contributors and our site visitors who read their content has proved to be a recipe for success."

Content Caboodle is a web service of BanPro NET [Bannon Productions Network], that "stands out from similar services in several ways," according to BanPro NET owner, Scott Bannon. "From the start our primary goal was to develop a system that would fairly compensate the contributors, and also be helpful for us to encourage their very best efforts in content submissions."

The solution was a 'pay for performance' CPM model where contributors earn based on the popularity of their content with visitors. Depending on their author level, contributors earn between $3 and $5 per 1000 readers for the lifespan of their works, providing an uncapped opportunity for the best writers and self-promoters. Contributors are also able to include media such as graphics and video in their submissions to make their content more appealing, and Content Caboodle offers several tools and widgets for contributors to promote their articles with.
