Inatech Upgrades UN Agency System

Oracle specialist implements migration to Linux with Thales Switzerland.

London, United Kingdom, June 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Inatech, a global Oracle business solutions specialist, has successfully upgraded Oracle eBusiness Suite of an United Nations agency in Geneva.

Inatech introduced greater functionality and efficiency across operations, specifically in Human Resources modules by updating to the latest version Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i. The Oracle specialist also migrated the underlying platform from Microsoft Windows to Linux, implemented Oracle Single Sign On (SSO), and added French and Spanish languages to the system.

The UN agency sought a robust and higher performing architecture and hardware to support future module installations. In partnership with Thales Switzerland, the project was completed within the initial fixed-costs contract acknowledging the success of cost-efficiencies and waste reduction through considered planning.

Thales Switzerland delivered Implementation Project Management, functional expertise and industry knowledge whilst Inatech delivered the technical services.

“The migration to Linux and introducing a more sustainable architecture has simultaneously reduced issues with response time and stability,” said Keith Rock, Sales and Strategy Director, Inatech. “The successful realization of such project underlines once more Inatech’s expertise in Oracle upgrades and migrations, as well as experience in partnering with prestigious international players like Thales Switzerland.”
