A 45 -year old pens his first two urban fiction novels and publishes them on Lulu.com.

Mr. Conroe wrote both books in 2009, spurred on by his 45th birthday. “My mid-life crisis took the form of a writing frenzy, rather than the traditional sports car purchase,” Conroe says.
The books, God Touched and Demon Driven, are the first and second novels in an urban fantasy series filled with vampires, were creatures and a giant short-faced bear.
“Reading fiction has been a lifelong activity and trying my hand at writing some seemed a natural next step.”
