Announcing the 2010 E Source Utility Print Ad Awards Contest

Boulder, CO, June 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- E Source wants to recognize and reward excellence in utility print advertising and is excited to announce the launch of the 2010 E Source Utility Print Ad Awards Contest. Awards will be given out for two categories:

· Print ads that promote utility products or programs (for example, demand-side management, energy efficiency, smart grid, green energy, or demand response) for residential or business customers
· Print ads that build or establish utility company brand awareness (for example, safety, emergency preparedness, economic or community development, or environmental topics)

Eligible ad types include newspaper ads, magazine ads, outdoor display ads, and direct mail pieces. Entries will be accepted through July 31, 2010. This competition is open to any electric or gas utility located in the U.S. or Canada. Advertising agencies or related organizations may submit on behalf of a client utility. More details about the contest and full submission terms can be found at www.esource.com/adcontest2010.

“We’re looking for all types of prints ads that have generated great response for utilities,” said Wendy Bloechle, director of Marketing for E Source. “Print ads play a big role in helping to build successful programs and increase brand awareness, so we want to reward the best ones.”

An independent group of judges selected by E Source will pick the winners based on effectiveness, objectives, message, visual design, and creativity. The number of awards given will be determined by E Source and the judges, based on the relative quality of work in each category. Winners will be honored at the 23rd Annual E Source Forum (www.esource.com/forum2010) during a special luncheon on September 22, 2010.
