Local Cary Restaurant Providing Meal for 200 Volunteers of National Television Show

Cary, NC, December 04, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Jim Mallon, managing partner of Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill located at 2300 Walnut Street in Cary, has announced that the restaurant provided dinner for 200 volunteers at the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition – Raleigh North Carolina build site on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 10 p.m. The volunteers are from all across the Triangle and are working with ABC’s national television show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, to help Raleigh’s Riggins family return to a new home on Thursday, Dec. 7.

“We are proud to be able to be a part of a such great cause,” said Mallon. “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has helped so many people and to see them help a family in Raleigh is exciting. We are happy to support the efforts our community is making for the Riggins family.”
