North By Sound - Europe Connects in Videogame Music

Bergen, Norway, June 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- "We met for the first time in London 5 years ago," says Thomas Regin (33), a Dane living in Bergen, Norway. "And we realized that our different styles would complement each other perfectly." When asked if living in different parts of Europe would pose a problem he says: "Not living in the same country is actually a big advantage in the startup phase. Nikolas, in Greece, can cover the southern part of Europe and me, being in Norway, can cover the northern part. This minimizes travel time and gives us more time to work on our music and ultimately better prices." Nikolas (32) adds: "The Internet has made it possible for two entrepreneurs in separate parts of the world to create a business - and write music together."

Both come from a classical music background: Nikolas holds a PhD in composition from University of London, while Thomas is a self-taught composer with a passion for orchestral music. Nikolas has a long freelance-career behind him and Thomas comes from a full time composer-position at a San Francisco-based audio production house.

They both share the passion for video-games.
