Microsoft Tag Enhances July 2010 Issue of Practical Horseman Magazine

Gaithersburg, MD, June 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A new high-tech technology, the Microsoft Tag, enhances the interactivity of the July 2010 issue of Practical Horseman magazine, an Active Interest Media Equine Network publication.

The Tag appears on page 33 of the issue at the end of the monthly column Cross-Country with eventing veteran Jim Wofford, "Rolex 2010 Wrap-Up: The Future Ain't What it Used to Be." When readers download the free Tag Reader application and take a photo of the Tag with their mobile smart phones, it will automatically open Wofford's 2010 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event cross-country course walk video on their phones—there are no long URLs to type.

"We're excited to debut the Microsoft Tag technology in Practical Horseman's July issue with highlights from Jim Wofford's course walk at the 2010 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event," said Sandra Oliynyk, editor of Practical Horseman. "After easily downloading the free app, readers with smart phones can snap a photo of the tag at the end of the article and instantly be linked to a video with Jim's exclusive insights about one of America’s most challenging cross-country courses."
