About the Book (Excerpts & Info)

When Kish and Kirsten receive a visitation from the Lord, they are awestruck, but obedient to the instructions He gives them. But they have no idea what the Lord has planned for their lives. Touched by Jesus, their child, Arius, is born with a fingerprint on her head and is granted every spiritual gift by the Lord, gifts to be released at different stages of her life. Arius is exceptional beyond anything her parents can imagine, and those who look upon her are drawn to live a life for Him. Sometimes, though, the fiery trials seem unbearable. Will it be too much for this family to handle?

Reaiah is eight years old, and after being imprisoned, beaten, and abused by her mother, she doesn’t really know how to trust anyone. She’s rescued from her physical prison, but her mental prison is another matter. While at the hospital, Reaiah sees Arius, a beautiful vision that will stay with her and affect the rest of her life.

Mattaniah is known as a Christian who not only talks the talk but walks the walk. He is a paramedic with the gift of calming children’s fears, and when he collects Reaiah’s battered body from her hideaway, he is struck by love and determines to make her his daughter. Mattaniah is eager to give Reaiah a beautiful life, and is devastated when she disappears before he can put his plan in motion. It is hard for him to move forward while always looking over his shoulder for her in the back alleys. Will his integrity be called into question when he begins to fight the battle of his life?

With the gifts the Lord has given her to bring His chosen to His throne, Arius provides the link that binds everyone together. Three lives—and the lives of those around them—will be changed forever.

Deftly constructed at 148 pages, The Fingerprint is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Fiction / General category.
