New Orleans, LA, June 18, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- The non-contact free camp is led by Robert Royal of the Cleveland Browns and Ryan Clark of the Superbowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers. Robert, Ryan and their NFL colleagues will teach fundamental football techniques as well as mentor to the campers about the importance of getting an education, rejecting negative attitudes, avoiding drugs and alcohol and hard work equals success.
"We both vowed that if we ever achieved our dream of playing in the NFL, we would come back and make a difference in the lives of the youth in the city we love," Royal said. "It means everything to be giving back to New Orleans, and we aim to do a bigger and better version of the camp each year."
T.E.A.M. is fortunate to partner with the city of New Orleans again for this year’s camp. Sponsors from the previous year graciously continue to support the camp including Whole Foods, McDonalds, Raising Canes, Coca Cola, and NORD.
The football and cheer camp is free for Kids 7-16. The camp is open to the first 300 campers and the cheer camp is open to the first 50 kids. Campers will need to register the day of the camp by 8:30am. Parents or Guardians will need to sign camper information form and release. The camp will provide breakfast, lunch and drinks, but campers will need to provide their own transportation.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available, for more information contact Profiles Public Relations at (770) 222-2229. For additional camp information, please contact T.E.A.M. Camp coordinator Katrina Leonce at firstname.lastname@example.org.
