Dania Florida Resurrects Itself as a Prominent Design and Business Center

Dania, FL, June 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The City of Dania has embarked on several development projects to bring about a rebirth to the area in an effort to cement the Stirling Rd / US1 Corridor as a center for creative design and commerce. The Stirling Business Center will host a Grand Opening on Friday June 18, 2010 from Noon until 8pm and it is open to the public to view the complex comprised of over 40 shops, designer showrooms or businesses. The Stirling Business Center illustrates the City of Dania’s commitment to progress through its first “Green” development and the culmination of a 3 – 5 year initiative to “make the oldest city in Broward County its newest discovery” as stated by Ivan Pato City Manager, City of Dania Beach.

Now in phase 2, the City of Dania has many development projects slated or underway in the Stirling Road / US1 corridor. According to the Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Joanne Morrow the city is near completion of a new parking facility, and ready to begin building out the Paul DeMaio Library, and city center. In addition to the government projects, a new 140 room Indigo Hotel and casino are scheduled for growth on US1. The addition of the Stirling Business Center to the ever expanding design district on Stirling Road, Dania Beach has addressed several key elements to create a successful downtown revitalization.

The Grand Opening of the Stirling Business Center (SBC) complex on June 18, 2010 is a great opportunity for media, designers, and the public to witness one of the major steps taken by the City of Dania in the direction of progress. SBC is a “green building” development and a mixture of office/warehouse and showroom bays with high ceilings which allow for adequate circulation to minimize energy costs as well as several additional features such as hurricane resistant impact glass in each of the units.

Come visit on Friday from 12 noon until 8 pm, as the SBC shops and businesses celebrate their Grand Opening. SBC is home to and caters to creative clientele, agency personnel, media production, home interior & design as well as many interactive based businesses, etailers and retailers. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards for networking, as well as to enter to win one of several prizes including a trip provided by Away Travel and CK Properties. The SBC is located on the South Side of Stirling Road between I-95 and US1 at 1211 Stirling Rd, Dania FL 33004.
