Raleigh, NC, June 19, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- David Finch, president and CEO of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions (www.atcombts.com), a communications solutions provider, has announced that the company has completed a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) deployment for Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) (www.lgfcu.org) after being selected via a competitive bid process. LGFCU’s requirements included full unified messaging, contact center reporting and management, teleworking, enterprise voice recording, soft phone technology and fax services. ATCOM created a networked Mitel 3300 VoIP solution with full redundant failover to a hardened remote facility. Additionally, ATCOM replaced a Cisco core network and switch infrastructure with a new HP solution.
“We are pleased to establish a partnership with Local Government Federal Credit Union,” said Finch. “LGFCU serves the entire state of North Carolina, so communication with their members needs to be seamless and readily available. The unified messaging system provides LGFCU employees the capability to check voicemails, e-mails and faxes from one location and respond more efficiently using the Mitel 3300 IP solution.”
- LGFCU is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative established to serve the financial needs of local government employees, elected officials, volunteers and their families. For more information, visit www.lgfcu.org.
