London, United Kingdom, June 20, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Today sees the launch of a groundbreaking new venture in online charity donations. ‘See the Difference’ is a not-for-profit video site that contains a diverse range of video projects from UK Charities working at home and abroad. For the first time, donors can choose a project that means something to them, find out exactly where their money is going and track the progress.
Audio Network are proud to be partners in this exciting project, and have issued ‘See the Difference,’ with a music licence which enables charities to access the high quality library of over 30,000 tracks. The music will help bring the charities’ films and multimedia projects come to life on the ‘See the Difference’ website.
‘See the Difference’ was the dream of Dominic Vallely -former commissioning editor and executive producer at the BBC. Having been responsible for programming such as Dragons’ Den, Strictly Come Dancing and The Apprentice, Vallely said: “ A story without music is like strawberries without cream. Audio Network’s passionate support of ‘See The Difference’ has helped charities large and small make their amazing stories even more vivid for an online super-smart community of givers - we are incredibly proud of our partnership with Audio Network.”
This initiative has inspired the support of more than 25 partners including Accenture, EMC, McCann Erickson, Microsoft, Reed Smith, TwoFour and Virgin Money Giving.
Creative and Managing Director at Audio Network, Andrew Sunnucks said, “We are really proud of our involvement with ‘See The Difference’ – this inspiring project not only allows donors to see exactly where their donations are going and how they’re working, but its allowed us to support these amazing charities and help tell their stories. Being part of the whole process is a genuine privilege.”

With a catalogue of over 30,000 tracks, Audio Network offers a complete music solution by cutting through the traditionally complex and costly processes of licensing music. All high quality tracks are pre-cleared for multiple formats, for the world, forever.
This approach allows producers to make content for international distribution, emerging platforms and new media without the need to go through the complicated and expensive process of clearing individual tracks or re-versioning productions.
The company supplies music to some major international media clients, including BBC, HBO, MSN, MTV Networks, National Geographic Ogilvy, and Endemol.
Audio Network owns the rights to their extensive catalogue which covers a full range of music styles from classical to hip hop and from country to rock ‘n’ roll. This high quality music is created by its team of established international composers and recorded by major orchestras and artistes including The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Dame Evelyn Glennie OBE and the late Sir John Dankworth CBE.
Releasing up to 8,000 new works per year for its main catalogue, the company also supplies more than 50,000 sound effects and a collection of famous classical works from its Borradaile Collection.
In addition to supplying original scoring, audio branding, sound design services and working as creative partners alongside over 200 renowned composers, Audio Network now has interests and operations in multiple territories, worldwide.

See The Difference is a not-for-profit video site where you can literally see the difference you make to specific charity projects.
With See The Difference, people can now choose a charity project that means something to them, know exactly where their money goes and then See The Difference they make through feedback that each charity has pledged to provide on every project.
Launched in June 2010 with support from over 150 UK charities large and small See The Difference was created in response to the demand from UK donors to know exactly where their money goes and to See The Difference it makes. Research of over 2,000 UK consumers in December 2009 found that 51% of people would give more to charity if they knew exactly where their money goes.
See The Difference aims to help charities engage more deeply with the 23 million strong “facebook generation”. It has pioneered low cost video film-making and uses social media and a cutting edge “cloud” based platform to engage audiences and share their favourite video stories.
See The Difference is supported by more than 25 corporate partners including Accenture, Audio Network, EMC, Microsoft, McCann Erickson, Reed Smith, TwoFour and Virgin Money Giving and is a registered charity in England and Wales (1127980).
