A Dream Deferred Announces the College is Not a Dream Contest

Los Angeles, CA, June 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A Dream Deferred announces the College is Not a Dream Contest. Rising high school seniors have an opportunity to win a scholarship to attend ADD’s College ACCEPTS Workshop. ACCEPTS workshops are intensive 2 day college admissions workshop designed to help high school seniors complete a competitive college admissions application. Students will leave the workshop with an inside look into how their information is viewed by admissions readers. The workshops provides an understanding of the academic and application requirements for each college, a written draft of a college personal statement and a draft of their academic resume.

Participants can enter to win between June 18 and July 10th. The winner will be announced on July 11. Scholarship is available for the USC July 17, 2010 workshop Only. Anyone can enter the contest (students, parents, educators, etc), However, the beneficiary (the student who attends the workshop) Must be a rising high school senior (entering their senior year in Fall 2010).
