Philadelphia, PA, June 22, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Award-winning composer and Drexel University adjunct professor Andrew Aversa today launched ZirconTrax, a boutique catalog of production music designed for filmmakers, ad agencies, production houses, video game developers, TV studios and other content creators.
Production music refers to premade songs and instrumentals designed for use with other media. ZirconTrax is the only library of its kind residing in Philadelphia, providing all media creators in the metropolitan area with superior, pre-cleared music for all types of projects.
To create the ZirconTrax catalog, which continues to grow each day, an elite team of composers was recruited. From Emmy award winning orchestrators to electronica artists, the team’s credits include hit video games like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Mass Effect 2 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, television networks such as NBC, ABC, HGTV and Comedy Central - and countless independent projects, small businesses and everything in between.
“My goal here was to help the consummate, time-constrained professional,” said Aversa, a veteran composer of production music and owner of three other businesses in the entertainment and music industries. “Not everyone has the time to go through the music production process, or the budget for an in-house staff. That’s where ZirconTrax comes in.”
Through an entirely automated catalog system, visitors to the ZirconTrax website can search by artist, genre, subgenre and tags to find the perfect track for their production. After accessing full-length previews of their desired tracks, visitors can then input specific information about their project to get an instant rate quote, print a customized contract and download their music, all from a single website.
“All too often, the audio for an advertisement, sales video, animation or video game is an afterthought. At best, this can hurt the final product. At worst, improperly licensed audio can create a huge legal headache. With ZirconTrax, content creators all over the world can be confident that they have an efficient, affordable music solution for all of their projects!”
Aversa graduated from Drexel University magna cum laude with a degree in Music Industry. His music can be heard across all media, such as the upcoming Monkey Island 2 Special Edition video game, six full-length albums, club dance singles on Beatport.com, and the ZirconTrax catalog.
