Vologda, Russia, June 23, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Playrix® Entertainment, developer and publisher of Fishdom™, Royal Envoy™, Call of Atlantis™, Gardenscapes™, 4 Elements™ and other casual games, is pleased to announce that its bestselling hidden object title Gardenscapes™ has been nominated as the Most Addictive Game by the Second GameHouse Great Game Awards 2010 along with four other finalists. The winners in all categories will be announced July 19 within the framework of the Experience Music Project in Seattle, WA, USA.
Gardenscapes™ is a mix of three different game genres: hidden object, time management and sim. Players earn cash as they progress through hidden object levels and spend it to buy garden accessories to customize the garden to their taste and compete in the "Best Garden" contest. Gardenscapes™ is available at retail in over 20 countries and has been localized into multiple languages.
“We are extremely happy that Gardenscapes was distinguished by the selection panel of Great Game Awards 2010”, said Igor Bukhman, Playrix’s President, Products. “We are proud of the way this game turned out and the fan base it has built. We wish good luck to every title in the nomination list, and in the meanwhile we’ll keep our fingers crossed.”
Gardenscapes™ is not the only title of the Playrix brand that got distinguished in this year’s round of the Awards. Elementals: The Magic Key™, a puzzle game developed by Lucky Soft and published by Playrix, is one of the five finalists in the Most Innovative Game category. Last year, Playrix’s match-3 puzzle Around the World in 80 Days won the Great Game Award as Top Match-3.
