NET GM Talks Good TV on Star 99.1

Brooklyn, NY, June 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Recently NET GM Chris Quinn was featured on the Star 99.1 morning show and talked to its host Johnny Stone about NET’s “Choose Good…Good TV!” campaign, which asks viewers to choose Good TV for their viewing pleasure this summer.

Covering the entire slate of NET’s summer programming, Johnny and the rest of the Star 99.1 morning show staff seemed very interested in all the new programming. "The thing I really like is you guys have a summer campaign that I think Moms and Dads can wrap their brains around," said Johnny Stone. In describing what the goal of the channel is this summer Chris Quinn added "We want to reach the people in the pews which is always critically important but we also have to go out and evangelize and tell the good news. To do this, you need shows that are authentically going to reach out to these people I think shows like City of Churches accomplish this."

Featuring programming the whole family can enjoy, it’s easy to see that the NET is all new and designed especially for you this summer. Whether you prefer shows about Food (Breaking Bread), Music (Icthus EQ), Movies (Reel Faith & Faith Film Festival), Inspirational Talk (Too Blessed to be Stressed) or News (Currents), the NET has you covered.
