Celtic Violinist Arvel Bird Returns to 26th Annual Great Mohican PowWow

Award-winning Celtic violinist and Native American flutist Arvel Bird will return to the area to appear at the 26th Annual Great Mohican Pow-Wow, July 9 – 11, and September 18-19, 2010 at the Mohican Reservation Camp, 23270 Wally Road South (County Rd 3175) in Loudonville, Ohio.

Loudonville, OH, July 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Award-winning Celtic violinist and Native American flutist Arvel Bird will return to the area to appear at the 26th Annual Great Mohican Pow-Wow, July 9 – 11, and September 18-19, 2010 at the Mohican Reservation Camp, 23270 Wally Road South (County Rd 3175) in Loudonville, Ohio.

Arvel Bird is a classically trained Celtic violinist and Native American flutist with a flawless talent and a passion to inspire audiences worldwide. He uses his mixed-blood Native American/Scottish heritage to create a repertoire like none before. He has toured with country music legends, such as Glenn Campbell, Loretta Lynn, and Louise Mandrell, before branching out on his own. Arvel won best instrumental recording at the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards last year, and in 2007 was named Artist of the Year at the 2007 Native American Music Awards. The Great Mohican Pow-Wow, one of the largest in the country, features live entertainment, storytelling, traditional Native American Dancing, arts and crafts and fun for the entire family.
