Turning School Yards Green with Raised Garden Beds

South Salem, NY, July 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Teich Garden Systems announced today the delivery of four custom-made raised garden beds to PS 58 in Brooklyn New York. PS 58 is the 10th school to have Teich Garden Systems raised garden beds as part of New York City public school playground renovations being done by Out2Play. These planter beds will give the students approximately 100 square feet of plantings space right in their school yard.

Mark Teich, Founder and CEO of Teich Garden Systems stated: "We are proud to have both our permanent and rolling raised garden beds be a part of many Out2Play playground renovations. Rolling garden beds are the perfect solution for schools that may need flexibility for their play spaces as they can be moved to different parts of the schoolyard. They also provide an easy way for schools to give raised bed gardening a try before investing in a larger system. The beds are durable and provide a very good crop yield while using very little space."
