Laser Spine Institute Philadelphia Accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care

Philadelphia, NC, July 08, 2010 --( Bill Horne, CEO of Laser Spine Institute, ( the leader in minimally invasive spine surgery, has announced that Laser Spine Institute’s surgical center in Philadelphia has achieved accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. The AAAHC certificate is a symbol that an organization is committed to providing high-quality health care, and that it has demonstrated its commitment by measuring up to the Association's high standards. With the accreditation of Laser Spine Institute Philadelphia, all three of LSI’s surgical centers have now achieved this prestigious certification.

AAAHC accreditation is specifically for organizations that provide diagnostic or medical care on an outpatient basis. To receive certification for the Philadelphia, Tampa and Scottsdale facilities, Laser Spine Institute underwent an extensive self-assessment of processes, policies and procedures, and a rigorous on-site, two-day survey by the Association. Laser Spine Institute successfully met or exceeded all nationally recognized best practice standards established by AAAHC, providing the highest-level quality of ambulatory care available.

“We believe our patients deserve the best and we strive to attain the highest level of care and safety possible,” said Horne. “AAAHC accreditation means that Laser Spine Institute has reached for, and met, a rigorous set of national health standards, ensuring our patients know when they come to a Laser Spine Institute facility, they will receive the best care possible.”
