)-- Author Stephen D. Matthews is returning to his roots in Philadelphia, Pa. Too True For Lies is about a kid name David surviving in the South, North and West Philadelphia project areas. His is bringing his story back home for the city to read. He is doing a book signing at the Horizon Book Store in The Gallery of downtown Philly.

The main character David tells his story as he struggles through an ever changing environment that you won’t believe a child should encounter. Life will always have its ups and downs for everyone but should it be such a roller coaster for a child?

Stephen Matthews was born in South Philadelphia, Pa. but currently resides in South Jersey. He received his primary education in the Camden, NJ school system. Stephen received his degree in Information Systems. He is married to his high school sweetheart. They are the proud parents of three beautiful girls.
