Another VA Chooses ChemDAQ

Oregon facility becomes 53rd VAMC to purchase Steri-Trac monitoring system for employee safety.

Pittsburgh, PA, July 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ChemDAQ, Inc. announced today that they have received a purchase order from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon, making it the 53rd VA to partner with ChemDAQ in monitoring sterilant gases in the workplace. ChemDAQ will install Steri-Trac® monitors for ethylene oxide and hydrogen peroxide at the VA facility later this year. The package also includes one year of ChemDAQ’s unique Sensor Calibration Exchange Program (SXP) for maintaining sensor accuracy. SXP maximizes safety and efficiency through providing consistent, pre-calibrated replacement sensors to the customer at regular intervals.

ChemDAQ President and CEO, David Hilliker, expressed his excitement about supplying VA Roseburg with his company’s monitoring system. “We’re proud to install our product at another hospital in the VA system,” Hilliker said. “The relationship we’ve had with Veterans Affairs over the last decade has been very strong because of the concern we share for protecting the safety of sterile processing employees.”

As the company continues to grow, Hilliker plans to keep adding to ChemDAQ’s already impressive clientele as well as expand into other markets in addition to healthcare, as evidenced by their filing for a patent for a new Peracetic Acid sensor last month. Hilliker stated that “With systems nationwide and internationally, we hope to keep increasing our reputation as the leaders in sterilant gas monitoring wherever these potentially harmful chemicals are used.”
