Veteran Poet Releases Innovative New Work, Lyrics and Verses, Published by Outskirts Press

Annandale, VA, July 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Lyrics and Verses by Ame Ai. The author's most recent book to date is a 5 x 8 paperback in the poetry category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/ameai was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

Most of this book is meant to be sung (Lyrics). The last section of this book is meant to be spoken (Verses). Some lyrics have choruses. Some have indications if a sound should be high or low. For those who are musically inclined, some even have indications of notes.

These lyrics and verses may not always rhyme, but if you add music and imagination, you will find that there may be many interpretations of the written word.

Reader response is always more interesting than author response because when the author responds it is definitive. When the reader responds -- there is usually more than one reader – then that is existentialism and philosophy -- and sound.

115 pages in length, Lyrics and Verses is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the poetry category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Lyrics and Verses meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $12.95.

Additionally, Lyrics and Verses can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore.
