Oakdale, MN, December 14, 2006 --(PR.com
)-- George Boomer, Jr., President and CEO of Twin City Hardware, was presented with the 2006 Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) Award of Excellence at the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) national conference.
Boomer was nominated and chosen by BHMA members from a select group of leading distributors and hardware professionals across the nation. The recipient of this prestigious award must demonstrate excellence in representing the needs of architects, contractors, end users, and manufacturers. Each of TCH’s 130 employees play an equally important role in meeting these high standards; their dedication and hard work are validated by this achievement.
Under Boomer’s leadership, Twin City Hardware has seen continuous growth in the 8 years he has been running the company, with recent years reaching a 30% growth rate.
Contributing to this growth, TCH has expanded from the doors, frames, and hardware business to electronics; supplying, installing, and managing complete commercial security systems. Boomer comments, “Making these kinds of steps to expand and coordinate our services to our clients is vital to the sustainable development of our company.” In May of 2006, Tri-City Hardware, a new Omaha based company also led by George Boomer, Jr. opened its doors under the same model that has made Twin City Hardware so successful.
