Immersive Games Brings Fort Commander to PSN

London, United Kingdom, July 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Immersive Games, the London-based video game developer and publisher, today announced a new series of games for Sony’s PSN store at the DEVELOP show in Brighton.

Developed at the company’s Hog’s Back studios in Banbury, Oxfordshire, these titles will be released for digital download next month. Fort Commander: BattleQuest will be available on PSN while two other titles - King’s Gambit and Counterattack - are PSP minis, playable on PSP and PS3.

Fort Commander: King’s Gambit has three modes of play, Campaign, Assault and Survival. There are two unique enemy types to play against, each with five different levels.

Rich Hancock, producer at Hog’s Back studios said, “Fort Commander’s game play is a twist on the tower defence genre of strategy games, and they have both defensive and offensive game play modes. The games are set against a backdrop of battles between medieval empires.”

Dr Santosh Pillai, CEO of Immersive Games, added, “With the increasing popularity of digitally downloadable games on the leading console platforms, we have been scaling up Hog’s Back studios that specialises in that space. Hot on the heels of the success of the game Beam’em Up, I am pleased to announce the forthcoming titles of the Fort Commander franchise.”
