Yuin University Law Professor, Dr. Leigh-Davis, Describes Her Near Death Experience on Television

Dr. Leigh-Davis tells the story of a midnight scuba diving trip gone very, very wrong, on the Biography Channel TV program “I Survived.”

Los Angeles, CA, July 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Leigh-Davis recently wrapped an episode of the Biography Channel TV program “I Survived.”

On the show, Dr. Leigh-Davis describes her nearly fatal scuba diving experience. Dr. Leigh-Davis is a law professor at Yuin University, a retired attorney, and a well-known media personality with a weekly radio show.

“I Survived” is a top rated Biography Channel TV show where people from all walks of life describe near death experiences. The theme question of “I Survived” is: “What would you do if you were confronted with death?” The Biography Channel describes “I Survived” as “storytelling at its most dramatic, most basic and most honest.” The show is taped in an interview style, with the interviewer off camera, and the Charlie Rose style black background.

“Although it was a longtime ago, I can remember the fear as if it was yesterday,” explained Dr. Leigh-Davis. “Really, this was the first time I told the story in its entirety and with such detail, which opened the door to renewed emotions,” Dr. Leigh-Davis continued.

The “I Survived” episode featuring Dr. Leigh-Davis tells the story of a midnight scuba diving trip to catch lobster, which ended with Dr. Leigh-Davis being sucked up by a county water intake pipe, and then, dumped in to a water storage chamber that was slowly filling up with water.
