Vetro Restaurant & Lounge Debuts the First in a Series of Intimate Cooking Classes

Howard Beach, NY, July 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Vetro Restaurant & Lounge, the new contemporary Italian restaurant & lounge overlooking Jamaica Bay in Howard Beach, will be conducting the first in a series of intimate cooking classes on Tuesday, July 27th at 6:30 pm. Vetro’s Executive Chef Michael DeGeorgio, a Culinary Institute of America graduate and 22-year veteran of New York’s restaurant scene will prepare and discuss Summer Appetizers.

The menu will include three courses – cold appetizers (homemade mozzarella roulades, filet mignon “carpaccio” and shrimp salad “Murano”), hot appetizers (stuffed chili peppers, chicken meatballs with fresh fava beans and Chilean sea bass skewers), dessert and coffee.

The class will include a wine tasting with each course and all attendees will receive recipes booklets featuring each appetizer prepared. The cost is $45 per person, not including tax and gratuity.
