SharePoint Saturday East Bay Coming to San Ramon

Free SharePoint Event to be Held at San Ramon Marriott on September 11, 2010

Seattle, WA, July 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, September 11th, the East Bay SharePoint community will come together to provide a free, day-long event around Microsoft’s fastest selling product in history – SharePoint. Attendees can join SharePoint architects, developers, administrators, branders, and other professionals that work with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 to hear from experts and MVPs speak on various SharePoint best practices, including:

- Metadata and taxonomy management
- Social computing
- Migration and upgrade
- Business intelligence
- Design and layout
- Enterprise content management
- Workflow, Web Parts, and other SharePoint solutions
- Enterprise Search
- Cloud computing and hosting
- Project Management

SharePoint Saturday East Bay will feature over 40 individual sessions, as well as participation from local SharePoint User Groups (San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Sacramento, and Bay.Net) and the newly formed Women in SharePoint (WiSP) organization. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and there will be various prizes and giveaways throughout the day.

The event will be held at the San Ramon Marriott at 2600 Bishop Drive in San Ramon, off of Bollinger Canyon and Highway 680. While the event is free, registration is required as space is limited, and is available online at http://spsbay.eventbrite.com
