Family Fun Comes to Baltimore's Centerstage Pearlstone Theater

The Los Angeles based rock band for kids "The Party Animals" bring their special brand of celebration to Baltimore's Centerstage Pearlstone Theater for one weekend only July 30 - August 1, 2010.

Baltimore, MD, July 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Party Animals Bring the Celebration to Baltimore.

Stilt walkers and balloon animals will fill the lobby of Centerstage July 30th through August 1st as The Party Animals bring their rock-n-roll show and pre-show carnival to Baltimore and the Pearlstone Theater.

Renowned internationally and a hit along the West Coast, The Party Animals are a playful rock band aimed at children two through 10, and the adults/families who come with them. The Party Animals take the stage dressed as animal rock stars, accompanied by the Silk Sisters, dancers (Dee and Jay will not be attending), and aerialists. Before the show, families can enjoy activities in the theater’s lobby including face painting, balloon animals, stilt walking—and more.

Baltimore-area native Buffy Hornung, who has performed as a dancer and aerialist internationally, co-produces the Party Animals with her husband Mark Allen Ruegg, and performs as one of the Silk Sisters during their high-energy concerts. (Silk Sisters perform during the Pre-Show only)

The Party Animals have become widely popular in Southern California and have travelled extensively throughout Europe, booked by AFE (Armed Forces Entertainment) and MWR to entertain the families of troops living on bases abroad. Tickets are available for $12 for adults, $10 for children. Perfect for a child’s birthday party or a summer camp field trip, discounts are available for groups of 10 or more—$10 for adults and $7 for children. Contact Lauren Remenyi at 410.986.4008 for group sales.
