Government Kills in New Political Thriller from Code Publishing

Author targets Congress in new libertarian novel.

San Diego, CA, July 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Author J.S.B. Morse has no qualms with calling out the federal government. In his new fiction entitled “Gods of Ruin,” (www.GodsOfRuin.com), set in the near future, Congress is run by a corrupt ruling class who will stop at nothing to increase their power, including killing U.S. senators.

“We Americans ask that the government protect us from so many powerful and wicked forces,” the author said, “but who’s protecting us from the government? We have completely abandoned the idea of limited government and I wanted to show the natural end to such an abandonment.”

Other fictional works stressing limited government litter booksellers’ top 100 lists but none target governmental agencies in quite the same way as “Gods.” Novels like Ayn Rand’s epic “Atlas Shrugged,” which has been a perennial bestseller since its 1957 release, and the popular “Overton Window” by television and radio personality Glenn Beck have found a large market in small-government readers but focus on the private sector. Morse’s book addresses problems within Congress itself.

“Gods of Ruin” was officially released on July 4, 2010 and can be found online in eBook and paperback editions.
