Orpheum Theatre Foxboro Nominated for 15 Awards in EMACT Competition

Foxboro, MA, July 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Bay Colony Productions at the Orpheum Theatre Foxboro proudly announces that its production of Rent has received 15 of 17 possible nominations in the 2010 EMACT DASH Awards.

Each year, the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres (EMACT) commemorates the best and most memorable moments in local community theatre at their annual Distinguished Awards and Special Honors (DASH) gala. Bay Colony Productions is nominated for its January 2010 production of Rent, a Tony and Pulitzer-prize award-winning rock opera based on Giacomo Puccini’s opera La Boheme.
