Austin, TX, July 29, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Ron Perovich recently signed an exclusive deal with independent music company Hip Muzik, allowing his works to be showcased in upcoming video and DVD productions. While some details of the musical collaboration are confidential, Hip Muzik A&R Manger Maria Natera has confirmed that both original compositions and remastered music by Perovich will be used in an upcoming series produced by Why Knot Productions.
“Ron is a gem in the raw, playing over a dozen instruments and grasping concepts quickly,” said Natera. “The quality of his work is very satisfying - and true to the sound and integrity we were hoping for.”
Perovich specializes in the Middle Eastern genre, and the majority of his work has been quickly gaining ground via the internet and inspired music enthusiasts.
Hip Muzik is widely known within the music industry for its new and innovative approach to artist, publisher, and company relations. Its recent decision to partner with Why Knot Productions as music supervisor comes as no surprise to those familiar to either entity. Adds Perovich, “Hip Müzik has been really helpful in all aspects of the business side. They are also very supportive of artists’ rights.”
Perovich has already begun work with the Hip Muzik team and looks forward to upcoming projects. Why Knot Productions is set to release the videos featuring his work in late 2010. “This has been an amazing opportunity,” says Perovich. The video series features Oriental Dance (belly dance) and Middle Eastern Music.
When asked if Hip Muzik has completed the music needed for the project, Natera said no. “We work with many artists and composers all over the world, some well known within the industry and some in other stages of their careers. We continue to meet, listen to, and talk with people about how Hip Muzik may be able to work with them.”
She added, “If anyone is interested in being considered by Hip Muzik for this video production, they can log onto www.hipmuzik.com and fill out a submission form. They can also contact me directly at email@example.com.”
