Charlotte County Clerk Selects Pioneer to Bring Efficiency to the Court Process
Pioneer Technology Group was selected by the Charlotte County Clerk of Circuit Court to implement Benchmark™, Pioneer’s Court Case Management System.
Punta Gorda, FL, August 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Pioneer Technology Group was selected by the Charlotte County Clerk of Circuit Court to implement Benchmark™, Pioneer’s Court Case Management System.
The Charlotte County Clerk, Barbara Scott made the decision to move forward with Pioneer after a thorough Request for Proposal (RFP) process that included demonstrations from several court case management software vendors. The installation is underway and is set to be complete in September of this year.
Charlotte County will become the 6th county in Florida to install Benchmark in just 2 years. The new system will include Civil, Criminal and Traffic courts as well as online access for attorneys, the judiciary and the public. The upgrade will help Charlotte County keep up with the increasing volume of cases filed each year despite the unfortunate reduction of staff due to 2009 budget cuts. The installation will include all Court departments (Civil, Criminal, and Traffic) as well as online access for attorneys, Judges, and the public.
Benchmark is the most current and advanced Court Case Management Solution available; the system was developed in partnership with Florida Clerks. Benchmark is a unique blend of Web tools and Client Server processes that have been developed using Microsoft’s Net platform and SQL Server 2005. The system incorporates document imaging, improved workflows, electronic filing, electronic signatures, Web tools for the Judiciary and in-court processing techniques that will allow counties to cut their overall court operation costs by 20% to 25%.
